This whole week is the celebration of Chinese New Year, and what better time to get some awesome Chinese food! We have many different styles of Chinese food, but be sure to eat Local! 

With our vibrant culture here in KC, there are some great places to grab awesome Chinese food! With multiple locations, our favorite choice is to pick Bo Lings on Sunday for Dim Sum (akin to Chinese tapas as brunch).

Interested in some Chinese New Year traditions? Here are some interesting lesser known cultural traditions:

- On the first Monday (that's today!) you are NOT supposed to wash your hair, or sweep your floors. This signifies the 'washing away of wealth'.

- Don't buy shoes for yourself, as the word shoe in Chinese languages means to "sigh".
